Another way to help

I'm really, really proud tonight of my friend and co-author Dr. Paul Pion, DVM, Dip. ACVIM (Cardiology), head of the Veterinary Information Network (VIN.com, which also runs VeterinaryPartner.com).

The VIN Foundation -- a 501(c)3 charitable group --  has set up a way to donate directly to the disaster-relief efforts of the veterinary schools at Lousiana State University and Mississippi State University. Every penny of the donated funds will go to these efforts, with VIN covering the programming, credit-card and transaction fees.

As of yesterday, the donations have topped $82,000! -- Gina Spadafori

I have been on several web sites and have not seen WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals) on any of the lists. Are they not being involved in this effort to save these dear animals? They to my knowledge are world wide and they should be doing what they can to help. I donate to them and I need to know if they are helping as well, because they should! Thank you.
