A Paw Note to History

It happened. History -- some lucky rescue pup is headed for the White House. Actually, I can’t say for certain that no other First Family adopted a dog from a shelter or rescue, but I think it’s probably unprecedented for a newly minted president-elect to mention said canine companion on his Big Night. There are a lot of people and animals suffering out there, here's hoping this election ushers is a positive era for all creatures.
